Choosing a fundraising solution
Can ZenterPrize help us choose the right fundraising approach?

Set-up and ongoing management
How do we get started?
We begin with a discovery conversation about your organisation, audience, current fundraising activity, objectives, resources and preferred timescale. We then recommend the most suitable approach and prepare a tailored proposal covering implementation, responsibilities, pricing and ongoing support.
How long does implementation take?
Timescales depend on the selected solution, approval process, data readiness and any third-party requirements. As an initial guide, a straightforward ZenLottery launch may take around six weeks, while a bespoke ZenLaunch programme may take around ten weeks. A more complex ZenSwitch migration may require approximately 16 to 26 weeks.
What does implementation involve?
Implementation can include programme planning, payment arrangements, data preparation, compliance support, supporter journeys, campaign materials, website development and reporting processes. The precise scope is agreed with you before work begins.
How much of the ongoing management can ZenterPrize handle?
Our managed approach means we can take responsibility for much of the day-to-day delivery, including supporter administration, payments, communications, reporting and other agreed operational activity, while keeping your team informed and involved in the decisions that matter.
How do you manage lottery draws, prizes and winners?
Our lottery services can include secure draw administration, winner identification, draw records, payment tracking, winner communications, prize fulfilment and publication of results. The flexibility around draw arrangements and prize structures depends on the lottery solution you choose.
Can you help us recruit and communicate with supporters?
Yes. We can support supporter acquisition through channels including face-to-face fundraising, telemarketing and digital activity. We can also manage communications such as welcome journeys, winner notifications, payment communications, retention activity and reactivation campaigns.
What reporting and ongoing support will we receive?
We provide regular reporting on relevant measures such as supporter numbers, income, payments, retention and campaign activity. Our team will review performance with you, explain relevant trends and recommend practical improvements to help develop your programme over time.
Data, compliance and responsible fundraising
Is ZenterPrize licensed by the Gambling Commission?
BriteVox Limited, trading as ZenterPrize, holds active remote and non-remote External Lottery Manager licences under account number 57556. These can be found on the Gambling Commission public register.
How does ZenterPrize support compliance?
ComplianceWe help establish appropriate processes, records, terms, communications and controls for each programme. Compliance responsibilities are agreed with the charity during implementation, with ongoing support and oversight throughout the programme.
How do you support responsible gambling?
Our approach can include age-verification controls, self-exclusion procedures, entry limits, vulnerability awareness and clear responsible gambling information. The precise controls depend on the lottery and its agreed terms.
How does ZenterPrize manage and protect our supporter data?
Your organisation retains ownership of its supporter data. We use controlled access, secure data-handling processes, multi-factor authentication and appropriate technical and organisational safeguards to protect information. For lottery migrations, we also use an agreed approach to data mapping, reconciliation and transfer to help maintain continuity.
How are lottery proceeds protected?
Where lottery proceeds are held by an External Lottery Manager, they must be kept separate from the ELM's trading income and legally protected in accordance with Gambling Commission requirements.
Pricing and performance
How does ZenterPrize pricing work?
Our services are tailored around each charity rather than using one standard price. Costs depend on the selected solution, expected fundraising volume, implementation requirements, communication channels and level of ongoing support. Any set-up costs, contract terms and ongoing charges will be clearly explained within your proposal.
Who pays for lottery prizes?
This depends on the selected lottery model. The prize structure, funding arrangements and associated costs will be explained within your proposal and financial forecast.
How much lottery income goes to the charity?
The amount depends on ticket sales, prizes, reasonable expenses and the selected model. We provide transparent forecasts and reporting showing income, costs and the amount returned to your cause.
What results can we expect?
Results depend on your audience, brand reach, campaign model, acquisition activity and level of investment. We assess likely volumes and provide realistic forecasts rather than promising a fixed return.
How will we know if our programme is performing well?
We agree relevant performance measures and provide regular reporting to help you understand progress, challenges and opportunities. As your programme develops, we can use these insights to refine acquisition, supporter communications and campaign strategy to support ongoing growth.
